Ya en Turismo Carretera, y con ocho carreras ganadas, el &#8216;Pato&#8217; logra el fervor popular y la idolatr\u00eda de los aficionados, especialmente los seguidores de Chevrolet.<br \/>\nAquel 27 de marzo de 1994, junto a su amigo y copiloto Jorge Marceca, ambos perdieron la vida en el semipermanente de La Plata.
